The use of nylon PA66 in automobiles is the most extensive, mainly depends on the excellent mechanical properties of nylon. The various modification methods can meet the different requirements of various parts of the automobile.

The PA66 Material Should Have the Following Requirements:

Excellent mechanical properties, excellent outstanding toughness, and low temperature resistance;

Excellent flame retardant performance, can achieve halogen flame retardant, halogen-free and phosphorus-free flame retardant, in line with EU standards;

Excellent hydrolysis resistance, used for heat dissipation parts around the engine;

Excellent weather resistance, can be used at high temperatures for a long time;

After enhanced modification, the temperature resistance can reach about 250 °C, meeting more working conditions;

Strong coloring and good fluidity can form large automotive products.

Application: Auto parts—Radiators& Intercooler

Material: PA66 with 30%-33% GF reinforced

SIKO Grade: SP90G30HSL

Application: Electrical parts—Electrical meters, breakers, and connectors

Material: PA66 with 25% GF reinforced, Flame retardant UL94 V-0

SIKO Grade: SP90G25F(GN)
